Valentin Gavva, Russia Women’s U17 Head coach:

- On 17-20 and 24-27 April we will stage the selection training camps in Moscow. They will be held at the Spartakovets stadium in Moscow. The players will have one training session a day; on final days of the training camps, 20 and 27 April, we will play friendly matches against WFC Chertanovo (players born in 2002)

For the upcoming training camps we invited players from the regions we want to pay more attention. We want to see and test all the girls. Most players who are invited to Moscow took part in the regional selection training camps that were held by the head coach of the Russian Women’s U15 team Yury Bystritsky. The coaching staff took the decision on the players’ list for the training camps after the discussion with him.

After the training camps we will take the decision on the players’ list for the UEFA Development tournament that will take place in May in Portugal. We invited 36 players who are divided into two groups of 18. We will also call the girls from Moscow and the Moscow region who haven’t been called to the national team yet. We want to pay attention not only to WFC Chertanovo but also to other sports schools where there are competitive players. They will also have an opportunity to compete for the place in the team along with other 36 girls.
