Russia: Eschenko, Gerchikov (Sukharev, 65), Pelikh, Nikitenkov, Fedorov, Sungatullin (Projin, 78), Petrov (Nadolsky, 65), Rapach, Sevian (Skolik, 52), Usanov (Mazurin, 52), Sudarikov (Marketnow, 41).

Leonid Ablizin, Russia U16 acting head coach:

 - We had certain concerns regarding functional state of the players as it took us about 24h to get to the venue. Fortunately, our concerns were in vain. The guys were completely ready for the game, possessed the initiative and could have won with even higher score. The first goal was scored by Petrov who did a good header after the corner kick. Then Sudarikov was first on the ball after a fast counterattack. And the third goal was scored by Markitesov who seized the ball in the midfield and led it to the goals without missing his chance.
