Players of the women's youth team of Russia commented on a major victory over Georgia (4-0) in the match of the first qualifying round of the European Championship-2018 U-19.

Victoria Dubova, captain of the Russian national team:

- In the match against Georgia, I made my debut as captain of the Russian youth team. It was very exciting; I felt an increased responsibility for the girls. The Georgian national team is a worthy opponent. It was very important for us to score before the break. And we did it, although the "quick goal" did not happened. In general, we had an advantage, attacked. I am glad that we managed to achieve a major victory over the Georgians, thanks to which we headed the standings. I was satisfied with the team spirit. We will work further and try to progress from a game to a game. We are determined to win in two other round matches. And our current goal is to beat the Greek team.

Polina Organova, midfielder of the Russian national team:

- In general, I liked the game. We attacked a lot through the flanks. At first, however, it was hard to control the ball. The Georgian team had the strength to attack yet, but then the opponent got tired and played exclusively from the defense, and we were able to squeeze it. We managed to score a first goal and then controlled the ball and developed the attack. Later three more accurate scores followed, one of them performed by me. It was my first goal for the youth team. Lera Bespalikova passed round half a team of the opponent, the ball bounced to me, and I scored with a rebound from the crossbar.
