Roman Yezopov, head coach of the Russian national team:

- As well as the first match, in which we lost with the score 1:2, the second one was hard too. We started the meeting well. There was the task in front of the team to meet the opponent highly, to play aggressively, and to press the Turks in their half of the field. The first minutes of the match we were very good at it. As a result, for some time we locked the Turkish team in the zone and created scoring chances. Veronika Kuropatkina tried to score from about 11 meters, but, unfortunately, the ball went a little higher. Then the game evened, we also tried to put pressure, and eventually managed to score a goal. In one of the attacks after the taking off the ball Fedotova was taken to a striking position, and Julia shot from the penalty area with the left foot and hit the top corner of the gate.

We must pay tribute to the opponent. Turkish team is a very good, strong team with bright footballers in the lineup. Meanwhile, our defenders showed themselves well. They demonstrated superiority in single combat. The Turkish team tried to recoup, went in attack. It also had chances to score, but our goalkeeper Alena Vladimirova managed to react to a header from seven-eight meters and took the ball, rescuing our team.

In the second half we also had several chances to excel. But, unfortunately, we did not succeed in implementing our chances. We won this match with the score 1:0. It should be noted that on December 22 and 23 we are expected to have a recovery training and two-sided training respectively. We continue the training camp, the work on which can be called very fruitful. The coaching staff has already received great food for thought.
