Oleg Lapshin celebrates 80!


On Wednesday, October 18, a coach and sports functionary, a former head of the Russian Women's Football Association Oleg Lapshin, celebrates his 80th birthday.

Oleg Lapshin played for such teams as "Electrika", "Energiya" and "Trudoviye reservy" (all - Moscow). Upon termination of his career as a player, he worked as the trainer, including heading of Moscow clubs "Krylia Sovetov”  and “FSM” (youth football school), the national youth team of the USSR, the female national team of the USSR and Russia.

In the early 90's he was the president of the Russian Women's Football Association, member of the Executive Committee of the RFU, a member of the FIFA Women's Football Committee.

The Football Union of Russia congratulates Oleg Borisovich on his birthday! We wish good health, strong spirit, happiness and well-being to the jubilee and his family!
