Roman Yezopov, senior coach of the Russian national team:

- On December 13, we start the final training camp in 2017, which will be held in Turkey. There were invited 20 football players. 13 girls took part in the 1st qualifying round of the European Championship-2018. We also included in the lineup seven players who did not perform at the mini-tournament in Georgia, and among them are those who are first invited to the youth team. At the upcoming training camp, we are aimed once again to remember and consolidate those areas that worked and embodied on football fields in Georgia in September, and also to see the abovementioned new 7 players in action and try to introduce into the team in accordance with the system of the game offered by the coaching staff.

As part of the camp, we plan to play three friendly matches, two of them against the youth team of Turkey. It should be noted that the Turkish team also made it to the Elite round of UEFA EURO 2018, and in the first qualifying round it competed, including with the team of Scotland - our rival in the second stage of qualification, in which we will hold mini-tournament matches in April. It will be interesting and very useful to meet the team that confronted the Scots two months ago, having played with them in a draw (0:0).

The women's youth team of Russia is preparing for the Elite round of the European Championship-2018 U-19. Within the second stage of qualification, from 2 to 8 of April, the Russians will play against the teams of the Czech Republic, Italy and the host of the mini-tournament of Scotland. The final tournament EURO-2018 will take Switzerland from 18 to 30 July. The title of the best European team among girls under the age of 19 will be contested by 8 teams. The winners of seven qualifying mini-tournaments will participate in addition to the hostess of the competition.
